Comment: I am looking forward to getting involved and working with the CCAA for the current and future Calvin Coolidge Colts.  As Alumni, we must be a major fixture in the lives of our young Colts.  I wish I had that opportunity to have someone from the Coolidge Alumni Association give me the neccessary uplifting advice, guiadnce, and support before I walked out of the arche way of our alma mater into the world of adulthood to fend for myself.  I'm not saying that my parents nor family was not my support unit trust me THEY WERE!!!  It's the alumni association connection that most of us never saw walking in the hallways, coming to events for support besided sports games, or being mentors to those who really needed to be mentored.

Comment: I was previously registered in this site but my email address did not pop-up when I asked this site to search for my user name and have my password reset.  So I am signng up again.  Please send me the information regading becoming a member of this association.





Also, I am inquiring if my Calvin Coolidge Class of 1970 would have your permission to use this Association's 501 (c) 3 non-profit status to do fundraisers. Due to last year's Pandemic, we were not able to schedule any fundraisers and had to ppostpone our 50th Class Reunion.  From reading the commuincations from last year, the current Board had to update each facet of this organization to become fully compliant and legal again.  Note that Herbert Boyd is in my class and he can verify that I am one of the Class Reunion Committee members.  Herb's email is haboydjr@gmail.com. 





We are planning to schedule a fundraiser on April 19, 2021 and would have to provide the tax ID # before we are approved.  I had been advised by other classes that this was a usual practice.  Pleae feel free to contact me at 301-910-9403 or email at vera-johnson228@gmail.com.  Thank you for your attention to this matter as it is urgent.
