John and I played together on Coolidge's only Metro Championship team in 72. I remember him.We went through alot that year and I will miss him----Jerry Barnes  

What to say about John!!  He was bigger than life, he was the glue that kept us all together.  I met John Mallard when I started Keene Elementary School and have gone all the way through High School.  John Mallard was my dear friend, big brother from another mother, confidant, you name it.  He was my friend, and I will so, so miss him.  He made a mark on all who knew him and he leaves behind a host of family, friends, co-workers and all who came to know him and love him, will feel this loss of a true soldier.  Rest in peace my friend!!  I know that you will be my Angel watching over me as you did in life!!  Love always, Leslie C.
