Pyhllis Campbell, class of '68
1949-04-23 2011-12-19Phyllis graduated from Calvin Coolidge in 1968. Shortly after graduation she married her high school sweetheart Charles Mitchell, and to this union two children were born, Tammi and Sharmba. She later married Cary Campbell, lovingly known as ‘P-Pop’.
She leaves to mourn: Two children, Tammi Ramsey (Damon II) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Sharmba Mitchell (Kim) of Baltimore, MD; Mother, Leatryce Anderson; Brother, Thomas Anderson III (Ann), nine grandchildren, and a host of family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
A memorial service was held on January 4, 2012 at Fishermen of Men Church 3641 Georgia Ave NW, Washington, DC
A treasured classmate and one I recall as that beautiful quiet girl.
