Parney went to Coolidge and hung out with my brother, the late Kenneth Haynesworth of the class of '71.Parney and my brother used to get into all kinds of stuff together and remember Parney would always make a point of picking with me whenever he and my brother were around. It was my father that gave Parney his first job in construction. Later when I became Meter Division Manager for DC Water, Parney would always want me to "hook him up" and get his meters on projects installed quickly. My answer was always I'd see what I could do, but he would hound me, and bug me and basically harass me until the meters were in. Parney was a great friend and I want to extende my heartfelt condolences to his family.
