We are saddened to inform you of the recent passing of  Mrs. Norma Nadine Goodwin-Ellis, class of 1966. Nadine died early Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from the complications of breast cancer, a disease she fought off for over 15 years. Nadine was the former wife of classmate Dr. Rodney Ellis, class of '66. She is survived by her two children, Malik O. Ellis, and Rashida Ellis Winslow, both of Bowie, MD, 4 grandchildren, her brother Richard Goodwin and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rodney Ellis and Family, I would like to extend to you and your family my deepest condolences from my immediate family; myself,  my wife and two daughters.Secondly I would like to extend those condolences from my other Family members /brothers and sisters whom attended Coolidge as well;  five brothers and two sistersThird, but not least on behalf of the Calvin Coolidge Alumni Assoc. I extend and send out to you our prayers and blessings.May your future be as blessed as your past.God BlessJP

Dear Goodwin/Ellis family,I dearly loved Nadine as my close friend in High School.We lost touch but the fond memories are ever present. I pray God's blessings upon you for strength during this time of grief. Thank God this is only a change and moment in time for her and we shall see her again. Love and Prayers.
