Yuletta, while here on earth with us, you were truly a lady of substance who lived your faith. My heart is full of gratitude for having a very recent opportunity to experience God's presence through your sincere benevolence.  You even  acknowledged me in your honoree's prepared speech (how touching)! You were also genuinely concerned and supportive of my health recovery efforts by calling to offer assistance  and insisting on our going to dinner to celebrate.   It became a very beautiful dining experience as you willingly  welcomed the additional  presence of Pat Pringle Hawkins and Lawana Gray. Your  classy  smile was authentic and from the heart.  I will always remember you as living proof of how God's presence can be seen through those who really know the value of LOVE  (that we should love and help one another). It is my desire that your life will encourage all of us to strive to be more caring for one another as you have consistently shown throughout your life's journey.Love You Yuletta!Until we meet again,Frances

Yuletta was not only a beautiful person in appearance but her beauty radiated on the inside.  She a warm, gentle, caring person with a benevolent heart.  I am so glad that God gave many of us the opportunity to embrace Yuletta with love and thanksgiving on the morning that she was called Home.  "To God be the Glory",  until we meet again.Terri LewisClass of 1966

Yuletta defined the words "Classy" and "Grace".  She was quite a lady - an energetic and enthusiastic leader. The "Cheerleader" for our Class - I was proud to be a Class of '65 classmate of hers. I  offer my prayers and condolences to her family. I will miss her dearly.Earle JonesClass of 1965

I worked with Yuletta for the past 2 years at ARHA. Yuletta was an intelligent and vibrant woman. She worked hard to help others achieve. She believed in community service and most importantly, she got out there and did it! During the time I knew her, She worked hard to provide workshops and events for children, the elderly and the ARHA community in general.  Whatever she set out to do she did it with creativity, smarts and energy.I want to say to her family that I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget Yuletta.Sincerely, Denise KaffkaARHA

If we are the sum of our experiences, then October 9th, 2010 is a day that I will always remember. Yuletta and I greated each other with a great big hug. My memory of the forever vibrant Yuletta commenced in 1964. Her positiveness will always remain with me. The untimely departure of Yuletta is affirmation for living each day as if it is our last.

Eternal LifeThe world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God Lives forever. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. This is the testimony: God has given us eternal Life, and this Life is in his Son.  He who has the Son has Life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have Life.   Yuletta had so much Life on that homegoing day that her joy will always be remembered.  To the family- Now this is eternal Life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Yuletta, a most vibrant, beautiful, generous, caring woman, all of which traits are seen in her wonderful son Anthony, who I met on that tragic day.   How ironic that you leave us when our eyes were so focused on you?  I chose to see this as God informing us that every day even for the most vibrant is not promised; that we should live fully each day, and do not take life for granted.  We love you, Yuletta and will see you in awhile.

I am saddened to know of Yuletta's passing, I was there at the Alumni breakfast, and we had a chance of greeting each other and hugging, laughning, taking pictures, talking and I had an opporutnity to congraduate her on her award.  I  met her son and saw her parents again after over 40 years.   Yuletta was a wonderful person.  I will truly miss her, we had recently reconnected and I was looking forward to spending more time reconnecting.   God's Blessings to her family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Yuletta's sudden passing on Saturday.  Yuletta was such a beautiful woman -- truly from the inside out-- and was always special to my entire family.  She will be missed by many, and remembered by all for her graceful presence, her quiet dignity, and the love she so willingly shared.   My love and prayers go out to the McDonald/Mitchell family.

The Lord has called back this earthly angel to do more work in higher realms.  She was a dear friend of my sister, Phyllis Leonard Sapp, who passed in 2007.  I sat beside her at the 24th Alumni Awards Breakfast.  I met her parents and son that day.  I so looked forward to seeing her again as she had a special light, a soul light that beamed when she smiled--and she smiled often.  She has done so much for so many and while I had little opportunity to be in her presence, I was greatly impressed when I was.  Yuletta, I love you, miss you and send you my heart-felt blessings.  You and Phyllis can kick up some good times again!  GOD SPEED . . .

It is with great sadness that I am writing this. Having met Yuletta some twenty something years ago, through our starting of this organization she always had that bright smile. Seeing her at the opening football game this season and at this year's breakfast program was sheer delight. From her written words, I am glad that we made a brief difference in her life, because she surely made one in ours. On behalf of the entire Proctor Family I / we salute her life's story and deeply express our condolences.
